Uvalde Chevrolet to Celebrate Grand Opening of New Facility
The Uvalde Chamber of Commerce is proud to celebrate the grand opening of Uvalde Chevrolet's new facility on August 8, 2026, at 825 E Main Street, here in Uvalde. The Chamber will coordinate the ribbon cutting beginning at 10:30 A.M., followed by facility tours and light hors d'oeuvres and refreshments. We’re proud to stand with Uvalde Chevrolet on this milestone and look forward to the continued growth and service this new facility represents.
45th Annual Hunters Roundup Set for September 18
Hunters Roundup is right around the corner, celebrating 45 years. This year's event is Friday, September 18, 2026 at the William R. Mitchell Uvalde County Fairplex. Doors open at 5 p.m. with music, cold beer, margaritas, a wild game dinner, vendors, and our 30-gun raffle.The raffle drawing begins at 10 P.M., with the event wrapping up at 11 P.M. Chamber Celebrates Ribbon Cuttings for Mount Olympus and Uvalde Radio
On Friday, July 31st, the Chamber joined Michael Derek Sandoval, II, along with his family and friends, to celebrate five years of Mount Olympus, powered by MD Performance, LLC and the grand opening of their new location at 301 South Getty Street. Leadership Uvalde Completes First Responder Education Day
Leadership Uvalde completed its second Education Day on July 30th with a focus on first responders. Class members visited the Uvalde Police Department, Uvalde Volunteer Fire Department, Uvalde EMS, Uvalde County Emergency Management, Air Life Texas, and Uvalde Memorial Hospital for an inside look at the work these agencies do every day to protect and serve our community.
