Uvalde Chess Club
Chess players of all ages and skill levels are invited to meet in the El Progreso Room of the library for a chance to meet others who would like to learn and to play chess games. Youngsters are especially encouraged: studies have shown many benefits to learning to focus on chess, chess strategies and concentration. Grades inevitably improve!
